Bring on the cool days and nights! Fall is my family’s favorite time of year with leaves to jump in,
pumpkins to carve, cute costumes and of course candy. I wish you all a wonderful and safe
Halloween.
Our 30th Anniversary Celebration was a huge success, thanks to the efforts of the BOD and all that
participated. We thanked the founders and all past Presidents while also reminding everyone the
importance of keeping our efforts going. It was special to see so many past Presidents in the room
and hear some great stories. With legislation, municipalities and other organizations attempting to
pry in to our industry for one reason or another, RASIA has always been in the forefront of the
fight.
The NYSESA Annual Conference was also a success with great speakers, classes and vendors. Great
job NYSESA! The next one is also at the Turning Stone Casino Resort on August 29-30th, 2017.
Our next RASIA meeting will be October 11th, 6PM at Buon Amici. We’ll invite various fire and CO
detection companies and officials. Join us to benefit from listening and asking about the recent
changes.
ISC East will be November 16-17 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. All the surrounding area’s
chapters will share an area to promote our association and chapters. Please stop by to say
hello, we’d love to see you!
Thank You:
To our past Presidents that were able to make it to our celebration. Those that couldn’t make it
please know you were also celebrated and hope to see you soon. Thank you all for what you’ve
done for our association and industry.
Larry Huff, NYSESA President for celebrating with us. It was great to see you and you’re always
welcome.
Jason Etter – our Executive Director, who as usual did a great job with his research of past presidents
and all he did to make our 30th Year Celebration so special!
All associate members and vendors for your continued support. RASIA members realize how much
you all do and will continue to support you as well.
Paul Costakis
President
